Inliners International Forums General Discussion Drive Train Need my cycle wheels re-spoked

Does anyone know a place in the Central Illinois area where I can get my cycle rims with early Ford hubs re-spoked? The only place that I have found so far refuses to do them unless I let them totally restore the rims, including re-chroming. I want to keep the patina look.

Have you tried the local motorcycle shops? It's not uncommon for them to lace up new wheels.
