Nice to see a real truck with steel door panels.
Assuming you have a Clifford and 390 Holley?

Looks like 0-60mph in about 11-12 seconds looking at the speedo and youtube clock.

Thanks for watchin! Yeah the 1st run was the best one since I didn't do a burnout then shift to 3rd. 4 barrel is a 600 cfm edelbrock. It actually will get to 60 in 3rd. So it FEELS more like 8 or 9 seconds geting to 60. lol Gonkulator? Is there a sight with that?

So it looks like 60mph is about 4000rpm in 3rd then?
I show the tko600 as
2.87
1.89
1.28
1.00
0.64
Rear guessing 4.11?
Bigger carb on top makes it Gonk to 192hp

I wrote my own computer program for dyno and 1/4 mile back starting in the early 1980s, about the same time as Desktop Dyno and others got started. It got named the "WerbyFord Gonkulator" over on fordfe.com a while back, so here I call it the "DeuceCoupe Gonkulator" as it's not just for Fords obviously.
Its not always right but a lot faster and cheaper than hitting the dyno or driving 100 miles to the dragstrip if theyre open.

The "Deuce Coupe Gonkulator" is pretty accurate if fed the proper info about what is being "Gonkulated". Someday I would like to know what my dads stock 64 Belair top speed was. Jay 6155

That is fun to watch. Think what 120 pounds of compression would do.

Nah,, just think what a 4.2 engine could do! Enter EFI DIY eek

I say turbocharge it. It's a truck, plenty of room & fairly easy to do.

Yeah 4500 does around 60-65 I think. Rear gearing is 3.73 with a 30 inch tire. Still has the Sm420, tko600 won't be going in for awhile yet. lol The tko is going in with the new engine.

Yeah! lol! The new 292 is going into the 66 and I'm thinking of taking this 292 and turboing it for my 64.

Yeah in the 1st run it was the normal drop, but in the 2nd run when I did the 2nd gear burnout that's when the drop was real crazy cause I shifted before the tires caught grip. lol

Ok I hope I have the big C10 dialed in now.
I'm guessing it at curb=3750 + passengers=300 lb since my buddy's 1964 c10 weighed 3900 with a 350-4bbl.

For the engine/trans in the video the Gonkulator says
2.42 60ft
11.77 at 60.5 1/8 mile
18.59 at 70.5 1/4 mile
11.6 0-60mph with a really slow 2-3 shift in there.

With a bone stock 292 single exhaust, Gonkulator says
2.44 60ft
12.25 at 57.3 1/8 mi
19.50 at 67.1 1/4 mi
15.3 0-60mph
So its almost a second faster already

With the new engine and that glossy Ford Blue paint I bet it picks up another 2.2 seconds (1 second for the trans and shifting, 1 second for the engine, and another 0.2 sec faster for the Ford Blue). Oh, I forgot the Bling - maybe faster yet!

I'm betting it'll do a 20 second quarter. That Ford Blue will get ya!

...and that's if it makes it down the track being a Ford color...

HAHA! That actually isn't ford blue. It looks like ford blue cause of the lighting. Its royal dupli color blue. Yeah the slow 2nd to 3rd shift on this trans really can't be helped cause of the long throw. But yeah, the new engine and better trans will sure help speed things up a little. I'm throwing turbo in the air as well. The bling will help to. haha makes things slicker. lol

It did a 19.50 in the 1/4 being a rusty pile. haha The new engine's color is royal blue. Lighting makes it look ford blue....or are the gods unhappy with me. LOL!

If you want to make it fast it needs to be painted red. Also add some decals. I hear those are good for 5+ hp each depending on the content. Oh and add a spoiler. That's good for 25+ hp per deck.

For instance this car has 1000+ hp.

Not to mention you'll have a place to hang laundry.

Love the suspension travel clearance too.

Smart.
Real smart.
