Try your local Hyster forklift dealer. They used and may still use Continenals

Is it a continental or a reo six? Overhead valve or flat head? What year?

Is this REO a large or small truck?
I have a good friend in N. California that has a REO SPEEDWAGON dump truck that has a large flathead six engine in it.Is the Continental engine you the 226 cubic inch verison? They were used in many cars, trucks, marine and industral uses.Parts should not be a problem.

Continental made Reo gold comet engines under contract for the military. Those engines didn't have the "Gold Comet" script on the exhaust manifold. As far as I know, only Reo engines were available in Reo trucks.
