Hi, I'm looking for a good machine shop to rebuild my 230 L6. I'm in the Seattle area and would like to find someone in driving distance. I'm looking for someone to rebuild it, install a lump port head, do a break in in the shop. I'll pull the engine myself.

Thanks,
Mark

Try Bill's Machine, 20907 Hwy 99, in Lynnwood. 425-778-2197. Talk to Jim.
They built the 261 I'm running in my '41, when I lived up there.

Thanks much. It is always an option if I don't find something closer. It provides an excuse to crash the relatives place.

Thanks! I'll check them out. Reasonably close and the shop shows up on internet search, so should still be in business.

41,

Thanks for the referral! I had a good talk with Jim today. I'll stop by some weekend to meet him, see the shop, and hopefully work up a game plan. GPS says only 15 miles and an hour of rush hour traffic away. Thankfully he's open on Saturday's.

Thanks again for the referral Larry. I met Jim this morning, he gave me a tour of the shop, we had a good talk. Jim's got the machinery to do everything from grinding/balancing crank to milling heads. I'll take the engine there, probably October, will start a new build thread soon.
