Hi, I'm looking for a good machine shop to rebuild my 230 L6. I'm in the Seattle area and would like to find someone in driving distance. I'm looking for someone to rebuild it, install a lump port head, do a break in in the shop. I'll pull the engine myself.
Thanks, Mark

Try Bill's Machine, 20907 Hwy 99, in Lynnwood. 425-778-2197. Talk to Jim. They built the 261 I'm running in my '41, when I lived up there.

I had a good talk with Jim today. I'll stop by some weekend to meet him, see the shop, and hopefully work up a game plan. GPS says only 15 miles and an hour of rush hour traffic away. Thankfully he's open on Saturday's. Mark Mark

Thanks again for the referral Larry. I met Jim this morning, he gave me a tour of the shop, we had a good talk. Jim's got the machinery to do everything from grinding/balancing crank to milling heads. I'll take the engine there, probably October, will start a new build thread soon.
