Thanks Tom. Yes, I'm chipping away on the roadster. I'm still working on components so that when it is together I don't have to tear it apart and rebuild all the old stuff. I just want to move the filter away from the engine.
I spent the summer replacing and repairing water tanks. I removed two old metal tanks one 2000 gallons and one 500. I repaired a 1200 gallon plastic tank and added three 2500 plastic tanks. It required cutting a road up the hill and rebuilding one stand. I still have some plumbing to do. We also enlarged the pond to about 50,000 gallon capacity. I still have to put the liner in that and fill it. Next fire season won't be quite so scary. There will be almost 60,000 gallons of water on three different systems within 100 yards of the house. Early in November I'm renting a bull dozer for a week to work on the road. After that I hope I have enough wood to heat the shop and end up with a roller by spring.
Did you see my wheels? I got them powder coated at Less Schwab for $25.20 each.
