Hey all!

I have a '61 Apache that I planned on putting a 250 until I found a great deal on a 292 (I now have both engine available). I just found a great deal on a complete turbo set up for a Chevy straight 6. Which would you use and why? I plan on backing it up with a NV3500 5spd, keeping the 3.90 rear end. Street fun is the end goal.
The remaining engine will be used in a future rat rod project.

Will you ever do any towing or hauling? I'd pick the 292 for the added power. It will pull anything you hook it to.

I have a paint matching 1965 Mallard camper that would go behind it maybe once a year to a local car show. Other then that, no.
