I've been talking with my good friend Mark Panic from panicwire.com about possibly making a standalone swap harness for the Vortec 4200, or possibly other Atlas family engines.

We're seeing if there is interest in making either a patch harness to a Link ECU, or possibly a complete harness.

The atlas uses a unique cam wheel that to the best of my knowledge is only supported by megasquirt 3 or pro.

The 4&5 cyl have a common cam wheel, the 4200 has is own and is different from the 4&5.

So unless the Link Ecu has the cam wheel decoder programmed in a harness for it does not gain much.

Make a standalone harness for MS.

Is it possible to use a cam wheel from a 3500/3700 on a 4200? Link G4 is a very versatile ECU, and he and I are just very familiar with them, I have one in my MR2 and he always puts them in his customers cars.

I think the ECU could understand the signal, it can do just about anything.
