NOS or NORS (?) cap, GM P/N 836450 or equivalent, and in very good condition. Multiple caps are available. This listing and price shown is for one (1) cap only. Road draft tube shown as an example in the photos is not included.
The cap fits early Chevy engines, including 216 and early 235, with road draft tubes that were fitted with an oil filler cap, as used on cars and trucks up to '48 and possibly some truck models through '55, according to the '58 Chevy Master Parts Catalog. The cap does not fit later draft tubes with crimped top, of course. May fit some GMC engines, but the buyer is responsible for checking fitment please.
There is slight discoloration of the Cadmium plating, but the plating remains generally bright. The cap comes with its original cork gasket (disc). The cork appears to have shrunk slightly, but remains pliable. Please see the photos.
