I agree, Decent 292 pans are a pain to find. But I have to think cnc-dude is right in the approach. If one of the pan manufacturer has the tooling, or can make it up out of what they already have, seems to be the better direction. If you are thinking of investigating this, and was wondering if anyone had any interest in a new performance steel street pan, I will be the first to say I am, and would prepay.

On the other hand, and in terms of aluminum, I would really rather see a Lowe 4bbl intake manifold, water heat ready, injection capable, then I would an aluminum pan.
