I have also heard that some cranks (mopar?) have a "barber shop pole" knurled finish that "pumps" oil away from the seal.

I think at this point I will apply all of the suggestions here on final attempt to stop this nusiance leak and am still looking for any additional ideas.

I wrote to Best Seals for their input as well. That is really a novel seal that they make and I hope to find a way to make it work for my situation.
