My '64 Chev parts book lists this number, 54-62 pass. 6 cyl. part no. 3701486 with ident. no. as 3701488. note 3, "when used with automatic, remove the pilot brg".
Lots of parts have a 'casting' number that doesn't come close to the actual part no.
