90% of Brazilian Buggies uses the 4 cyl. watercooled engines, that originally equip the GOLF/JETTA cars. Here, this engines (called AP) reach 800 hp +, and also a 4cyl Dragster turns 7.9s in 1/4 mile.
But the fastest Buggie here have 2.300cc Aircooled engine, Fuel Injected turbocharged with Pauter Machine cylinder heads, and turns 9.023 @ 235Km/h in 1/4 mile. Really fast!
The 6Cyl. cars just became fast in the last 2 years. It seems we“ll (brazilian) gonna take a little more Horsepower from this engine, and also better times.
My objetive is to enter the 7 seconds club with a 6 cyl. car.
