My twin supercharged comment was a little tongue in cheek, I guess its easier for GM to use the LS? for its SS Trailblazer.

How do you check for "slipping sleeves", and what years do you worry about? Can you tell by pulling the oil pan off, is it easy to see or ????

Any other specific problem areas to watch for the 4200?

My question on the "form factor" is, are all the 4200's the same? If I can find a blown up engine for cheap I would use it to fab the motor mounts, etc. then change out to a good engine later.

Phosphorus based lightweight batteries?
