This is my post, no clobbering allowed,lol.
So I actually measured the one piece of the old head gasket that didn't tear to shreds when removed,hmm, about .055. So the gasket is no longer an issue, the special gasket wasn't so special.
The flat top pistons at TDC sit .010 below the deck,the head gasket is .055 compressed, close enough.
By the way,the 848 head was milled .015,the block milled .030 when I built it.
