My guess is that if it was a conversion way back then, it might have come from a coachbuilder like Miller, S&S, or Superior for a flower car. I wonder about it ever being used in fire service as a brush truck. Who knows for sure how much it has or has not been been modified since the day it was built? Nonetheless it is a unique piece and knowing its real history may be interesting.
Now, if I just had a Crosley hearse and a Nash Metropolitan limosine conversion to go along with it.............
