The Aussie Hemi and the Slant share nothing at all... it was designed completely seperately.
It's a 7 main bearing bottom end, and has very good horsepower potential, making just over 300 hp. from the factory.
As well, they used a unique casting technique and were about 15 pounds lighter then a slant, while being stronger as well.
As for the distributor, it's a little hard to see, but in the first pic, about 6" behind the oil filter is a green rag stuffed in the hole for the dizzy..(it points upwards..)
