Mad Max, that was the movie, those Masd Max movie cars then had the 265's in? Plenty of power, super charged.
About bringing a car here to the US, what is the DMV process? Should we try only pre 74 cars(exempted from smog)...will a smog time car(post 74/75) requiere retrofitting w/ smog devices, which would be a nightmarish situation, let aside the damage to the performance of the motor?
For the engines, do any good rebuilt 265's are available in NZ , or would the best bet be to get a rebuilt kit and import a carcass engine and do the job here? I think, for practical reasons, to bring a already rebuilt engine might be better, those engines are not known here, ...just brainstorming.
