the hemi will fit the US engine bay ,as this is a common swap in OZ.the fit into an early val is fairly tight(with the fan in place)but if the fan(and the water pump) is removed, and replaced with an electric replacement,there is ample room.the engines have also found there way into all types of cars and hot rods.from datsuns,fords ,GM makes and i even saw one fitted to rambler hornet(went quicker than the V8 it replaced!.
