Go to the MoPar section and search for a post by Don Coatney who has installed a T-5 behind a De Soto I/6 in his 48 P-15. He has also posted on the P15-D24.Com Forum for MoPar cars and on the H.A.M.B. portion of the Jalopy Journal.Com. He adapted the original bell housing to mount the T-5 transmission. The Wilcox adapter uses a Cheverlot bell housing causing you to fab new rear mounts and new clutch linkage. Paul Curtis at KVC Products also sells a kit to adapt the T-5 to the stock bell housing.
