I don't know about hearing it with a turbo. But i can tell you
my 250 with over 13-1 on 87 Never made a sound, But I can tell
you it would fire up with a Bump of the key But you couldn't turn
it off without loading the clutch. And NEVER burnt a valve Or
anything and No marks in the pistons or valves. and it got 16
mpgs in the city.
