The springs may not show being weak untill the motor is under a load. But if this is a bone stock motor,Other intake and exhaust mods It maynot ???? even be a issue. But i would agree a little
oil down the bores and Prime the block. Fresh plugs Or at the very least clean them up.Same for the cap & rotor Wires should be fine. An clean up the carb or replace it with one you know that works. Also Replace the Thermostat.For testing. Hoses and what nots Once installed.
