A close look at Figure 4
in the Chevrolet Shop Manual will reveal the "set screw' and nut that holds the oil pump in the block that Tom described. It is below the camshaft. The detailed instructions for removal and installation of the pump will be found about ten pages further on in the Shop Manual.
