I don't know what panic is talking about, I had 2 1/2 inch glass packs that went on up to 3 inch tubes angling out just in front of the rear tires. True it was a little loud at first but about four hundred miles into a trip to Bonneville they quieted down real nice. Got my new hearing aids yesterday. Mufflers are different now.
