I have several Chev and GMC Nicson Intakes. My GMC has a 2 carb intake on it now and I am restoring a 3-carb intake to put on it.

This intake originally had holes and one good size crack. I sandblasted and then mig welded it up and then touched it up with JB Weld - then re-blast to get the "as cast" look and then painted.

I had the paint matched from several original manifolds that still had good areas of original paint.

One thing I don't see mentioned here is Nicson Exhausts - here is a shot of mine. More for keeping it all Nicson than reaching for performance as I have been told that the way they are set up that they are not as good as regular headers.

The exhaust flanges were odd ball - I had to make them from scratch.

I have a Solid Model done for a GMC version of a Nicson Sideplate - Barry Weeks loaned me his Chevy version and I copied it and modified it for a GMC and made the model 3% bigger to allow for shrinkage if cast in Aluminum. I haven't had one cast yet. On the "to do" list after I switch my intake over to a 3-carb unit.
