If there was enough interest the next steps would be :
Get the stock cover digitized the allow it to be imported into the CAD system, then starting with the actual flange pattern design the lower then upper sections.
I would probable get one routed out of wood to validate the design.
Once proven then the pattern design can be done. Patterns made and initial castings done, machined and test fitted.
