I know squat on these. Can anyone ID the years or which series it is? any other identifying characteristics?

I can't tell just by looking, but the better one to have is the 2006 to end of production units.
Some of the very early ones had issues with dropping the sleeves, but they supposedly got that fixed quickly.
I would not want to put boost to anything much earlier than 2003, and I wouldn't want to put much boost to that if it was stock.
Better sleeves, rods, pistons etc can be ordered, and there seem to be group buys for cam blanks periodically.
