Hello folks,
The number I gave is what is stamped on the block. I cleaned it up better and it is sharp and deliberate. The block number is
3850817 which is a '62-'78 230 or 250 as checked in this sites casting# page.Maybe it is '68ish or newer with the spin on oil filter? It has a point distributor but that could have been changed out at some point.
