It's not a governor lock type. My understanding is that was a truck-only application. This one is most definitely a clutch-type (Eaton is virtually the same thing). Vehicle was an 84 Trans Am, most likely with the WS6 package (hence the rear disc brakes), but I'd have to pull the vin to be sure. It's the 7.5". Dramatically smaller than the 8.2 on my Camaro.

Kind of a bummer. I was pretty excited to find it. . . New ones look to be $500+
