Isn't there a rule of thump for psi o fuel for psi of boost?

Usually 1:1 increase (1psi boost for 1 psi fuel pressure increase) on a carbureted application, so the fuel level in the float bowl remains constant.
I haven't seen a rising rate regulator (more than 1 psi fp: psi boost) on a carb, only on fuel injection).
