kalklein, Thanks for sharing all this with us. What a great engine build. You revived my thoughts of putting a Studrbaker V8 head on a Model A block. A Stude-A- Baker. It is sad that as the the old racers/roders go they take so much knowledge with them. Often it is because they think no one cares. I know where a DeSoto hemi is but the guy won't get off it. He'll be gone and it will get hauled to the scrap pile. Oh well I can't save it all. They'd just have to haul to the junk yard from here someday.
