the clip for some reason did let go.
But it's still in the lifter seen here on the left & right sides:



I have a lifter on order from Napa.
I also pulled out the other 11 lifters one at a time and placed them in a make-shift tray in the order they are suppose to go back in, and are all soaking in Marvel Mystery oil at this time.
