Thanks for the info.One of the reasons that I was curious is that growing up we had a 1964 Rambler American 2dr coupe. I was kinda young then but I know that it had a six and a 3 speed trans. There was a decal on the valve cover that I thuoght said 232. I could easily be wrong as those almost 50 year old memeriores have faded.(a lot!)
