Thanks for the replys. The crate engine idea is interesting as it is in an older big truck. Not sure of the year but between 48-53. I'm pretty sure it's a 261 and I'm probably going to buy it.
Now I'm wondering if it's got the full flow oil filtration or the bypass filter (or maybe none at all). I didn't look at it that well when I was there. If it doesn't, is it hard to turn it into a full filtration version?
