Several years ago on a deer hunting trip all by myself in north central Nevada I was sleeping in the cab of my pickup and before I dozed off I was listening to a high school football game on a Navajo station out of New Mexico. All the commentary was in Navajo but all the football terms were in English. I could tell exactly what was going on in the game but I didn't know who was winning or who was on which team. Or even who the teams were. Thats about all I care about football anyway.Funny how AM bounces around and how clear it can be from a great distance. I was wondering if the local Paiutes were listening and if they understood more than I did.
