Work? I don't work on my cars. I fix them or make them better.

...and I'm about 6 hours into fixing my own stupidity right now.

My 68 Camaro, l6 250, had a little problem with a sticking throttle cable. Oh and I had just got done tunin my new 390 4bbl. I pulled out of my neighborhood and let her rip. Spun some rubber and watched the speedo move up. Let off at 55 but the car kept going. Went to put it in neutral but missed and hit reverse. At 65. Both back wheels locked up and spun me around. Barely missed a telephone pole and came to a stop. Shut the car off and found the throttle linkage hung up on the intake heater hose.

It broke both motor mounts and messed up the exhaust flange gaskets. Not an expensive fix but timely.

No other damage.
