The 250 connecting rods are the same as your 230 connecting rods, so they are needed unless you just want to get a spare set. With the installation of the 250 crank, you will need to install 250 pistons and not 230 pistons.
Hey, thanks. I think I misquoted Gbauer. I'd put in new pistons and rings regardless of the shape of the engine I pull the crankshaft from. I don't like oil burners.
If I do this, from now on, when I'm online and the stores ask me for my engine type, I just put in 250, not a 230, right?
Anyways, I'll be looking for an engine or even just the crankshaft.
