I did pull the tank, it was shiny like NEW from inside! OUtside was covered in some undercoating or something, and zero rust underneath... shiny like stainless steel...?? Flawless tank. Now I still need to figure out why the gas gauge is not working. I had it out, forgot to attach the wire, dropped the tank again to attach the wire, and still no work. Gauge is pegged full.
