Nice engine bay. Very clean. Looks like you're running coolant the heater plate. Yeah the black crinkle valve cover looks better than the chrome one.
Yeah, you're probably right on the oil return, nothing on that side of the head but coolant. It must be oil getting out from under the valve cover or through a crack. I just don't see where it is coming from above the manifolds.
