Go lucky. The oil pickup was flat against the pan due to the dent. No spun bearings or cam issues. Just the pickup.


The culprit


Looking positive. Not the cleanest engine inside but solid. No movement in cam shaft or crank either. No evidence of a previous rebuild and the cylinder walls, from what I could see, show no problems.
