Hi, I've got Tom Lowe's most excellent aluminum valve cover on my Chevy 250. I had the engine builder install it. Seems he was light on the torque and it looks to have leaked. . .
You might also check your crankcase venting - if you are building pressure it can push oil through a weak section that would otherwise hold just fine.
