Someone asked me about my tailpipe setup, so I should have included some pics of it too. The factory exhaust is a 2.25" single from manifold to muffler, then a single 2" tailpipe. Switching to the Z28 dual 2.25" tailpipe increased the size immensely. The person had asked about the restriction of using cheaper replacement pipe with wrinkled bends. But since the size of the tailpipes is a quarter inch larger than the dual 2" that is recommended for a street 250, and the gases are cooler at that point. I figure the restriction is negligible and not worth the extra cost of buying custom mandrel bent 2" tailpipes when I can get by with stock replacement Z28 pipes.
