HI. I recently viewed a youtube video documentary series on the Surfers Top Fuel team in the '60s. It is a 51 part series of 15 minute interviews with Tom Jobe (R.I.P.) the last surviving member of the team that I found fascinating. Even if you have no interest in racing it is worth a look to hear about their '55 Chevy tow car which had a 235, three-on-the-tree combo. They used it for a daily driver AND a tow vehicle to tow their dragster all over the West. Very interesting - check it out. Search "THE Surfers" on youtube, not just "surfers".

Also, the chapter about how they used a VW Bug to haul 55 gallon drums of nitromethane was a treat too. Great viewing.
