Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines 1937 Pontiac 222.7 Flat head stuff

I have a 1936 Pontiac with a 292 & 5 speed. When I was looking for a rear end to fit it, I found out that a third member from a 1955 through 63 or 64 had of ton will bolt right in. The only thing you have to change is the axle gears to fit the original axles. You can find gears for these. I put 3.36s in mine. Hope this helps. Joe
